KINGFURT Social Media Management - Terms of Service

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Application and scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of KINGFURT Social Media Management (the "Application") and KINGFURT social media management applications that expressly link to these Terms. They cover content preparation and management and, when enabled, direct API integrations with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest and X. They do not automatically apply to unrelated applications or replace the terms for purchases from the KINGFURT online store.

By using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you use it for a business or another account owner, you must have authority to act on their behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

Development status and available features

The Application is currently a local development framework supporting draft creation, storage, validation and publishing simulations. Social account authorization and live publishing are not yet enabled. References to future integrations describe the terms that will apply when those functions become available; they do not represent that an integration is currently approved or operational.

Features may be enabled separately for each platform and may depend on app review, API access, permissions, quotas and platform availability. These Terms do not grant API access or guarantee approval by any platform.

Eligibility and account authority

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and meet the age and account requirements of each platform you use. Only connect accounts, Pages, channels, boards, communities or business assets that you own or are authorized to manage. Keep your access credentials secure and notify service@kingfurt.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Authorization and direct API access

When integrations are enabled, use the relevant platform authorization process to grant the permissions needed for your selected features. The Application may use authorized identifiers and tokens to carry out the functions you request, subject to the applicable permissions. Do not provide another person's credentials, bypass authorization, or grant access you are not entitled to grant.

You may revoke permissions through the relevant platform settings and any available Application disconnect function. Revocation can prevent future API actions but does not itself delete locally stored data or remove already published content.

Content ownership and permission

You retain your rights in content you provide. You grant the Application only the permissions necessary to store, process, validate, format and transmit that content to provide the functions you request. This does not transfer ownership of your content. Platform terms govern any rights you grant separately to the platform.

You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed for text, images, video, music, trademarks and personal information in your content, including any necessary advertising or AI-content disclosures.

Publishing, scheduling and results

Review your content, media, destination account, visibility and any publishing schedule before authorizing an action. When available, publishing and automation functions will operate within your instructions and granted permissions.

API acceptance does not guarantee public visibility, delivery time, audience reach or engagement. Actions can fail, be delayed or be restricted by the platform. Check publishing results before retrying to avoid duplicates. Removing a local draft or disconnecting an account does not automatically remove a published post.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Application for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive or unauthorized activity, spam, impersonation, artificial engagement, unauthorized data collection or resale, or disclosure of confidential information. Do not bypass platform restrictions, rate limits, access controls or enforcement decisions. Automation must comply with the applicable platform rules and your authorization.

Third-party platforms and their terms

Third-party platforms operate independently. Your use of a platform and its API remains subject to its applicable terms, community rules, developer policies and permissions. Where a platform rule is more restrictive for a platform action or platform data, you must comply with that rule. We may restrict a feature to comply with those requirements.

The Application is not sponsored, endorsed or certified by any listed platform unless expressly stated with supporting authorization. Platform names identify intended integrations.

YouTube-specific terms

If you use an Application feature that uses YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube features are also subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and Developer Policies. You can review and revoke Google account access through Google account permissions.

Privacy, storage and deletion

Information handling is described in the Application Privacy Policy linked below. The current Application stores configuration, drafts and operational records on the computer running it, and selected media are managed locally. When publishing is enabled, content and necessary authorization information are transmitted to the relevant platform.

If you use Codex, ChatGPT or another AI service with the Application, content submitted to or retrieved through that service may also be processed under that provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.

For access, correction or deletion requests, email service@kingfurt.com and identify the Application and relevant account or Page. Follow the Data Deletion Instructions linked below. Do not email passwords, tokens or app secrets. Deleting Application data does not automatically delete content held or published by a platform.

Availability, changes and charges

The Application and platform APIs may change, become unavailable or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, retention of local files, a particular publishing result, or ongoing access to any platform API. Maintain appropriate backups of content you control.

These Terms do not create a subscription or authorize a charge. Any paid features or third-party charges require separate disclosure and any necessary agreement before they are incurred.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the Application and revoke platform access at any time. Access or particular functions may be suspended when reasonably necessary to address a security issue, misuse, a platform restriction or a legal requirement. Contact service@kingfurt.com about access issues or deletion of information held by the Application.

Responsibility and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the development Application is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise of error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for your authorized instructions and content; we remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. Applicable law governs disputes, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Contact service@kingfurt.com so we can review an issue.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms as features, integrations or requirements change. The effective date will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Application or another appropriate notice before they apply where required. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen.
